Huico:

You do not see the suspicious man from yesterday, although you do see two other residents at your hotel who seemed odd from the previous day. Vincent and Conroy are both present at the coffee shop. The local time is about 8:40 by the time the frazzeled barista has managed to locate their copy of the phone book and hands it over to you.

Vincent:

You see the burly South American man from the lobby yesterday standing over the counter of The House perusing the phone book as your coffee is delivered.

Conroy:
As you walk into The House, you see two familiar faces from the hotel who you saw in passing the previous day; the wiry man and the burly South American.

Huico addresses the stranger with a curt "thank you" and begins the trek to the campus. He dips into a nearby coffee shop and asks the person at the register if he could look at their phonebook. He also looks at the shop's patrons, looking for any suspicious figures, especially the man from the night before.

Conroy and Vincent:

Both of you manage to make your way over to The House after a brief walk. After about a half an hour of working on his webcomic, Vincent notices Conroy walking through the front door.

Crewer:

After asking a passerby for directions to Columbia University, you are given some brief instructions. [[I am retconning the location of the hotel, as those streets in fact do not exist. Your hotel has been moved to the corner of 54th street and 7th avenue, which is where it was intended to be all along >.<. This places your hotel at the outskirts of the Times Square metro area, and about 6 blocks from Broadway (Yes, you can rejoice Isaac). Columbia itself is off Broadway, but much further down on streets.]]

Isaac:

Bob agrees that coincidences, in his experience, are usually anything but. He agrees that you should try to find out more about that weird guy, but he has no clue where to start, given that all you know about him was where you met him randomly on the street on the way to your hotel, and don't even have as much as a name to go off of.

Aeden:

After a brief walk, you find a small deli that would service your meat needs, but the closest actual grocery store by city standards is about a 20 block trip further, due to the local area being more suited to tourists and businesses.

[Isaac Erasmus]

Hanson. "Jiminy Christmas......" Isaac mutters to himself. Isaac takes the newspaper back up to his room, after finishing his breakfast. "Alright Bob, looks like we've got our lead." Isaac meticulously separates the article from the rest of the paper and places it on the table. "So remember that big hispanic fellow we ran into earlier? You know, the one that could see you? I distinctly remember him mentioning Hanson. Although he said Hanson street. Something tells me that's not a coincidence."

[Storyteller]

[[Look at all this player character cooperation. I take the lack of posts to mean people expect a response from me, so who is doing what today? I know Huico has plans, but nothing from Isaac yet. Who else is doing what?]]

[Crewer]

Hanson.

Huico takes that page of the paper and folds it neatly, stuffing it into his cargo pants. I suppose for now it'll have to be enough to go on. He then steps out onto the street and garners from a friendly passerby directions to Columbia University.

[[I'm going on the assumption that it takes me less than half an hour to ask that question and leave]]
I thank Fechin and walk to The House. Once inside, I order a medium-sized coffee, heavy on cream, light on sugar, and a bagel with cream cheese. I find an empty table and flip my sketchbook open to work on some concept art for a webcomic I may or may not ever get around to starting while I eat and drink.

Those of you reading the newspaper see the August 19th headlines talking about Germany's reaction to the "debt crisis" as well as a local governor's plan for trading domestic oil. Buried on the twelfth page under local news is a small blurb about the recent death of a professor of linguistics from Columbia University. It has little information to share, as the lead detective, a Mr. Sam Hanson of the thirteenth precinct, has declined to comment or provide details on the case.

First things first, I need a perception + awareness check from Huico and Isaac.

Eight o´clock risers:
Isaac's hotel has a small and modest breakfast spread. Meanwhile, at O'Kennedy' s, Fechin pauses for a moment, considering what you can do in his professional opinion, then says there's a decent coffee place a few blocks down called The House, as well as assorted other fast food places nearby.

Conroy: You are unable to locate a Starbucks, but a decent looking local business called The House has several ads on the street.

Nine o'clock risers:
Aedan, there is not a fridge in your room. Huico, Fechin replies that you have no mail.

[[Those of you who are awake at roughly the same time net each other going through your respective lobbies, aside from Isaac.]]

[Aedan]

With a long yawn, Aedan rises at about 9 am. After a quick shower, he gets dressed and heads out to do a little grocery shopping. Namely breakfast but Arjac could use some food. It also seems like this could take some time so stocking up some spare food can't hurt. After taking a moment to pet Arjac and store Rach in his jacket, Aedan proceeds to head to the nearest grocery store to acquire meat for Arjac <Can't remember if the hotel rooms have a fridge, if they don't then a cooler with ice also> as well as various foodstuffs - about a weeks worth of provisions for himself and Arjac.

[Conroy]

Conroy wakes up at 8:30 Am. Provided no one attempts any shenanigans in the lobby as he passes through, he will leave the hotel for a brisk walk and eventual breakfast. Starbucks is on his mind, but anywhere that serves a warm one will do. He carries with him: his laptop, a set of headphones, a Beretta and a few key parts of his Remington (to keep it unusable), all tucked in a laptop case.

[Crewer]

Huico finds himself rudely awakened by his 9 AM alarm, having enjoyed a night of relative luxury compared to his typical hovels. He takes a quick shower to wake up, puts on some fresh army fatigues (hiding his combat knife) and walks down to the lobby, glancing at the fat American and then at the paper sitting on the coffee table, picking it up and examining it.

"Any mail?" he gruffly asks the man at the counter as he flips through the pages.

[Vincent Faustino]

I wake up at around eight o'clock. I brush my teeth, change clothes, shower, etc. I then go downstairs to the lobby carrying my throwing knives (hidden) and my sketch pad and ask Fechin for his professional opinion on breakfast food in the area.

[Isaac Erasmus]

Isaac wakes up about eight o'clock, wanting his eight hours of sleep. Isaac wakes up and gets out of bed. Taking a swig from his flask, Isaac steps into the shower to freshen up. After completing his morning routine, he picks up the paper and heads downstairs for breakfast, donning his reading glasses as he goes. In a robe.

[Storyteller]

As the assorted heroes settle in to bed, night passes into a bright new day in the bustling city of New York. Who is waking up when, and what do you do in the morning? Isaac has a newspaper outside of his doorway, and the other hotel has a copy available in the lobby. There is breakfast at Isaac's as well, but if you think Fechin is making you food it is just not going to happen.

Returning the baristas cold stare with a warm smile and a wink, Isaac takes his seat. "Eh....For the most part yeah, ran into this one wild Hispanic guy, he was rough. Other than that just having tough luck with ladies." Isaac replies with a warm chuckle as he sips his water.

[Storyteller]

The barista gives you the glare of death as you order water..... in a coffee house. Apparently, you are just too hipster for her.

"Eh, my shift was ok. Only two drunks tonight, and no accidents in the car, so all's well that ends well. Things going well for you?" Hugh casually sips some of his coffee and scowls. It's still too hot for him.

[Isaac Erasmus]

Isaac walks over to Hugh's table, further surverying the crowd of people. Hipsters. Isaac visibly grimaces. Isaac motions for a glass of water from the bar/waitress and sits down. "Boy Hugh, you sure know how to pick them. How'd the rest of the shift go?" Isaac takes a sip of water, deciding to refrain from using his flask out of respect for Hugh.
