After getting a general understanding of where the linguistics building is, Conroy leaves campus for the hotel.

[Storyteller]

[[Exit Vincent and Isaac. Just wondering what Conroy is up to, then the new thread will begin and xp will be distributed.]]

[Vincent Faustino]

[[Yeah, I don't think either of us is gonna convince the other any time soon.]]
After Isaac walks away, I leave campus and make my way back to O'Kennedy's.

[Isaac Erasmus]

Isaac sighs. "While I have reason to believe she does have [i[some[/i] powers, I do not know which ones. I'm not saying I think she lied to me, but then again I'm not saying I believe her. Running off like that is reason enough for me to be suspicious. Regardless, this can be a topic for another time. I have things that need looking into." like figuring out where tall dark and handsome went where the hell Bob is.

Isaac waits around for Bob to finish his class, as a courtesy, then takes his leave from campus.

[Vincent Faustino]

"It's no surprise that she knows a lot about us. She does have a supernatural gift for knowing things, and that gift told her that the only ones who could stop whatever's coming were us, and not her, so I suppose she went back to her life after getting us together, her job being complete. Of course, it's entirely possible that she lied to all of us, but I don't really see why she would choose five people, seemingly at random, just to bring us into a trap."

[Isaac Erasmus]

Isaac still doesn't trust the group yet, not that he has any reason not to trust them, that's just the way he is. Not terribly surprised to find out that Specs was told the same thing, Isaac decides to share his deep, flowing love for Huico personal opinion on the matter.

"There's too much I don't know about this whole picture. I don't like that enough by itself. Then add in that some girl comes up to me, tells me all this, knows some things about me that very, very few people know, tries to drag me into something that may or may not be true, then just up and leaves without so much as another word? No, no I don't think that's going to quite cut it for me. Sorry specs."

[Vincent Faustino]

"Understandable. Suddenly being told you're one of a few people who can stop a veritable shitstorm of death isn't something that happens every day, even for people like us. Anyway, it's your turn: what did you find out?"

[Storyteller]

[[>> Exit Huico. Once people leave the campus, we're going to handle actions in a new thread and do xp.]]

[Crewer]

After his descent Huico sees the only ray of sunshine in his dark and grimy life Isaac talking to the goggles kid. Apparently having some sort of exchange. He should be able to fill him in. He better not come between me and true love.

He also sees the tall shadowy figure eyeing him. He seems to thrive on his own. No reason to interrupt him.

Huico moves off campus back to the apartment to get his weapons.

[Isaac Erasmus]

Sighing deeply, Isaac stares wistfully into the sunset, aching for the return of his flower seems to be staring at nothing in particular, merely an abstract concept or concepts, trying to make sense of them. "To be honest I've failed to become convinced of anything over the past few days."

[Vincent Faustino]

I return the look, also stopping.
"You're not convinced I'm telling the truth, or your not convinced I was told the truth?"

[Isaac Erasmus]

Looking at goggles kid discerningly, Isaac stops walking. "I'm not convinced."

[Vincent Faustino]

"The professor had some sort of accident, but the police are involved anyway, because it's a "weird" case. Maybe something deliberate that was meant to look like an accident? I'm thinking we should pay Detective Hanson a visit. Information on the case doesn't seem very public, so he might not be very forthcoming about it, but I'm sure we can get something."

[Isaac Erasmus]

Still breathless by Huico's tantalizing display of physical prowess, a show Isaac knew was meant for him In no particular hurry to reunite with the burly hispanic, Isaac decides to debrief the goggles kid first. "Alright specs, what'd you find out?"

[Storyteller]

Vincent and Isaac, seeking the same thing at approximately the same time, run into each other at the elevator to the ground level as they attempt to rejoin the main force of the party. Huico took the fast way down, his epic deed only noticed by one person sitting by a window on the ground floor who very quickly assumed they were mistaken and should rest their eyes after having read their book for so long. Conroy finds his way to the linguistics department just in time to witness Huico's acrobatic freaking pirouette off the fifth floor.

[[What do you do?]]

[Vincent Faustino]

"See ya, thanks for the info, man."
Sounds like information about Meedler's death isn't too public. I should find Isaac and Huico and see if they've found any information about where he might have died. We should also try and talk to Detective Hanson at some point too, although I'm not sure how open he'll be about the case.
Putting my goggles back on, I leave the building in search of those two lovebirds my fellow scions.

[Storyteller]

"Hell if I know. But hey, you should head to the registrars and get your classes switched before any others fill up. I gotta head out, see you later." The man walks away.

[Vincent Faustino]

"Well, good to know he wasn't murdered or anything [[as far as we know for now]]. Did it happen here on campus?"

[Storyteller]

Huico, Isaac, Conroy:

Huico performs an amazing barrel roll onto the ground to soften the blow. Meanwhile, Conroy successfully finds his way over towards the same building that Huico has just exited. Isaac is in the midst of the hunt for Vincent, who is currently in the middle of a conversation.

Vincent:

The guy you are talking to replies;

"Oh yeah. Professor Meedler had some sort of crazy accident last week. His classes have all been canceled. Didn't you get the email? No one else here can teach them.... although I can't really blame them. That guy was as weird as they come," the guy chuckles a little. "No, really, apparently the cops got involved because it was some sort of weird case. Dunno what happened though."

[Conroy]

Conroy grabs a copy of the school news from one of the many reciprocals and scans it for anything about Hanson. Once he reads it, he'll ask someone passing by for directions to linguistics department. [[SocialCam]]

[Isaac Erasmus]

Mesmerized by Huico's swift gazelle-like movements Determined not to get caught breaking into a crime scene, Isaac makes his leave from the room, Being careful not to attract any unwanted attention. Once outside he decides someone ought to find the kid with the goggles. Isaac starts searching for him.

[Storyteller]

"We're burning time here. His spirit's not here, which means he probably died somewhere else. Our best bet now is to enjoy this precious time with us, all alone, with the dim light and the blinds shut talk to the officer in charge of his death." We close in on Hanson. Huico goes back to the window. "Meet you at the police station."

He then jumps onto the concourse below, tumbling as he lands.

In this mess, it would be hard to find something that would qualify as a struggle. Despite this, you seem fairly confident that anything too physical would have toppled most of the precarious piles of paper in the room, leading you to believe that the murder likely did not occur here.
