Isaac, seeing no further purpose in languishing at the morgue (after what feels like an eternity) decides to return to his abode in a promiscuous manner.

Isaac goes the fuck home.

"Hmmph." The bird doesn't appear to have left anything to follow. And there's nothing to manage here. I guess there's only one avenue to follow. Tomorrow we can regroup and compare notes. Huico turns to Isaac and Vincent.

"I'm heading out. *nod to Isaac* If I see your shadow, I'll tell him you're looking for him."

Huico departs. <exit thread>

Unfortunately, it seems as though there was no trace of the bird inside this room, and the window at the top is far too small for your impressive frame. Huico, seeing the flash of bird, decides that animal control is something he is capable of doing. He pulls his handgun and moves to follow the streak of brown oh god that's disgusting moving creature, looking for any sort of feather or other remnant of the bird's passing to track it.

As Vincent finishes his sentence, a very large bird comes flying through the doorway. You can just barely catch a streak of brown before it flies through the open window at the back of the room.

"No problem, let me know what you find."

[Storyteller]

Isaac moves over toward the corpse drawers and quickly scans Meedler's chart before exhuming the corpse. The cause of death is listed as pulmonary failure; a heart attack. Time of death is estimated to be approximately 3:14 PM two days earlier, based on the heat dissipation of the body in the steady temperature of his apartment. A quick note at the bottom of the pad claims that the corpse was discovered when one of his graduate students was unable to reach him at his apartment, despite having spoken to him earlier that day about an appointment.

And so, Isaac plays House... erm... Doctor.... Doctor House.... something like that, with Meedler's stone cold cadaver. He fiddles with various instruments that are commonplace to those of you familiar with medicine, but utterly inscrutable to those who aren't. After a few minutes of examination, followed by a quick test on a handy nearby Bunsen burner, Isaac seems satisfied with his results.

Isaac dons his robe and wizard hat a pair of examining gloves, a face mask, and a hairnet. Gathering the necessary tools, he then approaches Meedler's box. Recalling his past education and experience with medicine, Isaac pulls open the drawer, preparing himself for an impromptu autopsy.

Isaac turns his head over his shoulder to ask "If you gents wouldn't mind keeping watch while I take care of this I'd greatly appreciate it."

[[I accept Isaac's number and give him mine, presumably before I walk over to the cold chambers.]]

Isaac, as previously mentioned for Conroy, there are all kinds of instruments and gear available in the morgue for dissection. All of them appear to be in near immaculate condition, obviously being cared for with the highest of standards, even if they are scattered about in a haphazard manner.

Isaac discretely gives his number to Huico and to Vincent after the others have left.

[i]I don't think my lover would ever betray me the big one could track me by phone if he wanted to, and the kid seems way too nice.

Isaac looks them each square in the eye. "I'm giving this to you because I trust the two of you. Normally I wouldn't, but options are limited. If you'll be so kind as to give me your numbers, I'll be in touch once I've found out anything. Send me a text if you need me."

Isaac then moves around the room, looking for examining gloves and instruments. He thinks it's about time to put his skills to use.

I take out my phone and stare at it for a few seconds, reading.
I make my way over to the cold chambers and begin looking at the name plates.

[Conroy]

Vincent: your phone vibrates. You are being pestered by Conroy. ((Check your private messages.))

[Storyteller]

[[Exit conroy.]]

[Conroy]

Conroy retrieves the necisarry supplies to collect a blood sample, then collects a blood sample. He doesn't have the tools to analyze the sample or anything, but he'd rather have something than nothing. 

"Unless the rest of you are waiting to check into the iron bar hotel, I suggest we get moving."

Conroy leaves.

Looking out the window, which is set high up on the back wall, you can vaguely see the sides of buildings on the other end of the street, when feet and legs aren't passing by. The windows are very short, and the angle of view is steep.

After a quick scan of some of the tables you are able to find ample supplies of all varieties of various vivisection containers, for whatever suits your needs.

Conroy Takes a look out the window, as described before. What does he see?


He also looks for some of those little blood sample tube things.

After being completely Stonewalled, trading numbers like a normal person, being the recipient of either paranoia or laziness, and seeing the forth wall, and fluffy, in another man's eyes, Dimas Heads to the door to open it.

He takes his leave. Not looking back, he makes a waving motion as if to say goodbye and heads off down the hallway past the stairs.

"(555) 555-1234," Conroy says with all seriousness. Because he's for cereal. This is a legitimate cell number in this setting due to said setting being fiction. Nobody should find my phone number to be anything but average. Average, besides being strange as 555 is an Alaska area-code. Because I said so. He's just that shady that he would use a cell from a odd ball area code, just to throw people off. Not that I expect anybody in earshot to know Alaska area codes, just that that's a thing that someone might look into maybe. You all know you want to know the secrets of Conroy's odd/normal 555 area code. It is now fluffy. It's so fluffy you're going to die. From the fluffiness. I suspect the fluff would kill you by asphyxiation. I'm not sure; it's your fluff now. Well, I mean, it's my fluff, but I'm letting you use it, so enjoy that. Enjoy your murderous fluff, you weird masochistic freak. Geez, get a room.

((tl;dr: Conroy gives you his number as well as strange existential qualms, I suppose.))

Conroy then takes a look out the window, making sure he stands to the side of it, so as to decrease his chances of being seen.
